Dr. S. Thomas Parker Receives Michael Dickey Outstanding Research Mentor Award

The History Department is proud to announce  that out of 18 nominees at this year’s Undergraduate Research Symposium, our own Dr. S. Thomas Parker has received the Michael Dickey Outstanding Research Mentor Award. Learn about Dr. Parker’s own undergraduate research experience and what being an undergraduate research mentor means to him HERE.

Dr. S. Thomas Parker joined the history department at NCSU as an assistant professor in 1980 and was promoted to associate professor in 1986 and to professor in 1991.
