Amanda Jewett Zekanis, ’13 Finds Success at JCC

The History Department is proud to announce that Amanda Jewett Zekanis, who graduated from the History MA program in 2013, has just accepted a full time history instructor position at Johnston Community College. She had been an adjunct at JCC since 2016 and started the college’s History Club.

Amanda completed her thesis, Aristocratic Gentlemanliness and Revolutionary Masculinities among Virginia’s Delegation to the Continental Congress, 1774-1776, under the direction of Dr. Craig Friend.
